Responsible for the development of management, and evaluation of program services. Ensuring guidelines, procedures, and policies are followed. This position works with communities, administrative staff in other agencies providing services to abused and neglected children and their families, judicial, legal, and law enforcement personnel, medical and treatment professionals, fiscal, human resources, business management, audit division, and government relations.

 What to expect on a given day as a Regional Program Director of Foster Care:
  • You will consistently monitor the outcomes of all teams and work with Lead Supervisors on improvement plans.
  •  You will supervise, assign, coordinate, and/or participate directly in delivery of client services.
  • You will use data, accepted best practice standards, and continued education to improve services and client outcomes.
  • You will review and provide consultation on complex, sensitive, high-profile cases, and staff issues.
  • You will utilize appropriate management skills, abilities, and resources to meet program, and agency goals and quality delivery of required services
  • You will provide emergency approval for all basic placements; you will provide consent for medical treatment for foster youth, and review and approve/disapprove all sibling separation requests.
  • You will provide clinical and technical assistance to case management staff and supervisors
  • You will provide on-call support for the on-call supervisors.
  • You will provide leadership in quality improvement process and planning meetings as needed to facilitate quality care
  • You will build relationships with, and strengthen communication with, agencies, regional courts, Children’s Division, and other community stakeholders
  • You will promote, monitor, and ensure that respect is demonstrated for cultural diversity.
 You would be a good fit for this position if you:
  • Have a master’s degree in social work or related field.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in child welfare, and management of such services.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Have experience in serving high needs populations.
  • Have strong reading comprehension skills and must be able to define and solve problems, and challenges, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Can handle confidential information, administrative details, work independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Can create and sustain positive working relationships with all levels of the agency; internal and external.
 Salary Expectations:
  • Dependent on experience and education, starting salary is $73,000 - $78,000
