The Research & Training Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of applied research, evaluation, and training initiatives aimed at improving the mental and behavioral health of children and families impacted by early life trauma. Duties include research and project coordination, including evaluation planning, data collection, and contributing to data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

What to expect on a given day as a Research & Training Coordinator: 
  • You will provide administrative/operational oversight of assigned program/project.
  • You will manage timelines, reporting, and evaluation for each project/program and its associated activities.
  • You will collaborate with the project lead to coordinate implementation, evaluation, and training efforts across project teams.
  • You will coordinate e-Learning training activities.    
  • You will ensure adherence and compliance with applicable protocols, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • You will oversee and contribute to data collection, data management, and data mining processes.  
  • You will oversee recruitment and orientation of participants for assigned research projects. 
  • You will contribute to data analysis and the presentation of qualitative and quantitative findings. 
  • You will contribute to the design and preparation of project evaluation reports.
  • Conduct literature reviews, gather preliminary data, and draft various sections in the preparation of grants and manuscripts.
You would be a good fit for this position if you: 
  • Have an undergraduate degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, behavioral health, public health, informatics, or related field, required. Graduate degree desired.
  • Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in coordinating complex projects or research programs; OR
  • a combination of related education, experience and training may be used as an equivalent to the         above Minimum Requirements
  • Have demonstrated experience with project management and evaluation and/or clinical research. 
  • Have experience using survey development platforms for data collection.  
  • Have data management and analysis experience.
  • Have demonstrated experience with written and oral communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of SPSS, AMOS, Atlas-Ti, or PowerBi a plus.  
Salary Expectations: 
  • Dependent on education and experience: $48,000 - $53,000 annually.
