We are looking for an energetic and organized Communications and Marketing Specialist to join the largest McDonald's franchisee in St. Louis, with over $100 million in annual sales. In this key role, you will support our McFamily’s operations, marketing, and communications, ensuring smooth execution of projects that enhance internal processes, drive employee engagement, and promote brand growth through innovative communication and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Support: 

  • Assist in planning and executing projects that improve company performance and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of office-level processes, systems, and routines.
  • Collaborate with leadership on initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, loss prevention, and performance improvement.
  • Organize and coordinate team-building activities and community engagement events to foster a positive workplace culture.

Communications and Marketing:

  • Help develop and implement communication strategies that align with the McDonald’s brand, both internally and externally.
  • Assist in managing third-party marketing vendors (e.g., Coca-Cola, PR firms) to ensure campaigns align with company goals and timelines.
  • Draft newsletters, key messaging, and communication materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage digital platforms, including social media and the company website.
  • Oversee local store marketing (LSM) efforts and enforce point-of-purchase (POP) standards.
  • Provide leadership with insights on sales performance and coordinate promotional campaigns with external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in operations support, project management, or office management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media management is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Public speaking ability and experience presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry is a plus.
