LEAD ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN - ST. LOUIS METRO AREA
My client is looking for a full time Electrician Technician based in St. Louis. Company is adding an Electrical Technician to support growing crane-controls work. In this role you will use electrical schematics, panel designs, and production drawings to complete our standard bridge crane control systems. This is a hands-on build role where you will be the final stage of production for release-ready cranes going to customers for installation
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Perform complete panel fabrication utilizing electrical schematics and engineering drawings to include assembly, wiring, testing, and final packaging of custom designed control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and Bills of Material.
- Wire AC and DC circuits ranging from 24VDC through 480VAC three-phase systems.
- Perform point-to-point wiring verification and quality inspections to verify proper operation and quality of completed electrical assemblies.
- Install conduit and pull wire for electrical control systems, following NEC, UL, IEEE, and other applicable standards.
- Lead project timelines and mentor junior team members for development.
- Basic PLC familiarity a plus.
- Bridge crane or material-handling industry experience a plus.
- Cabinet- or panel-build background a plus.
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary is $35/hour - $40/hour depending on experience.
