Custodian

Performs custodial duties to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings: cleans restrooms and fixtures; sweeps, scrubs, mops, buffs, and waxes floors; dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork and metalwork; cleans and empties waste receptacles; washes windows; cleans classrooms, chalkboards, white boards, etc.; vacuums and shampoos carpets; may clean vents and registers. Assists in arranging furniture and equipment for special events; may set up or take down equipment when needed. Assists with meeting set-up/break-down, risers, staging. Maintains equipment and materials. Moves furniture. Reports safety and fire hazards and maintenance deficiencies. May assist Grounds during weather emergencies Performs other job related duties as assigned. |
