Overview:

Your position will focus on the safe and efficient movement of products and materials by picking orders and driving a forklift.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in products
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles
• Ability to handle physical workload below.
• Strong work ethic

 

Physical Demand's:

While performing the duties on this job, the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit while operating a forklift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.

 

Job Requirements:

At least 3-5 years of forklift and picking experience

Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
