Overview:

Your position will focus on the safe and efficient movement of products and materials by picking orders and driving a forklift.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in products
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles
Ability to handle physical workload below.
Strong work ethic

 

Physical Demand's:

While performing the duties on this job, the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit while operating a forklift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.

 

Job Requirements:

At least 3-5 years of forklift and picking experience

Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
