Collaborative Strategies Inc. is conducting this search on behalf of our confidential client. This is a family-owned, medium-sized, global manufacturing company. This growing company is looking for its next President/CEO. In this role, you will be given autonomy by the owners to provide visionary leadership that drives the continued growth and success of the organization. Your ability to be a strategic and forward-thinking executive who truly values collaboration and the collective input of your employees will be key to fostering employee development and achieving sustainable revenue and profit growth. 
 
Reporting to the Chairman, you will:
 
PROVIDE STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategic vision aligned with the company’s purpose, values, and goals.
  • Lead the executive team in translating the strategic vision into actionable plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • A strong focus on developing organizational efficacy through people and process transformation.

 
NURTURE A PEOPLE-CENTRIC CULTURE THAT VALUES TALENT DEVELOPMENT:

  • Develop a strong value proposition for employees that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Foster and champion a values, performance-based, and affirming workplace.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development by developing programs and offering opportunities for employees to ensure their growth and success.
  • Foster and support a development system that aligns with the company’s purpose and strategy by improving and nurturing the depth of talent within the organization.

LEAD THE COMPANY’S FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE:

  • Drive revenue and profit growth in alignment with the company’s financial objectives.
  • Implement effective cost management strategies to optimize operational efficiency. 

CULTIVATE CUSTOMER INTIMACY:

  • Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to maintain a customer-intimate focus.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.

MANAGE GLOBAL OPERATIONS:

  • Provide strategic direction for global operations, optimizing efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional teams and stakeholders.
  • Focus on flow, problem solving, and continuous improvement while delivering best in class quality, delivery, and cost performance for our customers.

PROMOTE BOARD COLLABORATION:

  • Cultivate a strong collaborative relationship with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on company performance, strategic initiatives, and challenges.
  • Seek and incorporate feedback from the Board to enhance corporate governance and improve overall organizational effectiveness.

MITIGATE RISK:

  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the business.

ENCOURAGE CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Champion responsible and sustainable business practices, contributing to the company’s positive impact on society and environment.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven executive leadership experience in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong track record of successfully driving revenue and profit growth.
  • Servant leader with demonstrated ability to build and sustain a people-centric organizational culture that supports and promotes employee development, including development of yourself as a leader.
  • Experience leading teams through change and fostering innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with A3 thinking and an operational model focused on Plan-Do-Check-Act a plus.

 
LOCATION AND TRAVEL
This is job is located approximately 40 miles west of St. Louis. In order to effectively lead the organization, you will work in the office most of the time. There is approximately 25% travel but there may be more travel while onboarding and acclimating to the business.
