Development Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:
The Development Administrative Associate is an integral member of the Development Department, focusing on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our donor database, facilitating effective donor communication, and supporting the department's overall fundraising efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive role, has a passion for detail, and is committed to contributing to our mission.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Maintain accurate donor records, fulfill data requests, and generate reports to support fundraising strategies.
- Gift Processing: Ensure all donations (cash and in-kind) are processed timely and accurately, maintaining the highest level of donor satisfaction and compliance.
- Donor Communication: Craft and dispatch acknowledgment letters and other donor communications, enhancing donor engagement and stewardship.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with team members to assist with various administrative tasks and contribute to departmental projects.
- CRM Management: Act as the primary owner/manager of our new CRM system, Bloomerang. This includes learning the system, ensuring data accuracy, generating reports, and supporting other staff as they transition to and learn the new system. Prior knowledge of Bloomerang is a plus, but not required. Candidates should be prepared to learn and adapt alongside the team.

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or similar role, with at least 1 year focused on data management.
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. Experience with Bloomerang or similar CRM systems is a plus.
