Administrative Specialist

The School of Education, Health, and Human Behavior at SIUE is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Administrative Specialist.

The Administrative Specialist will contribute to the processes and successes of the Illinois Tutoring Initiative, a grant-funded, statewide program that offers no-cost high-impact tutoring to students in the designated school districts. The administrative specialist will have primary responsibilities in the areas of supporting tutor supervision, tutor training and development, and assist with school-site coordination.

The administrative specialist will work closely with the director of the Illinois Tutoring Initiative at SIUE, the Assistant Dean for Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion (PI for the grant), graduate assistants, and an administrative support specialist. The position is full-time and year-round with daily interactions with prospective and employed high impact tutors. Expertise in curriculum and instruction, adult education, customer or client-focused support, and project management are necessary for this position. Success of the administrative specialist will directly impact the overall program success and the delivery of quality high-impact tutoring to students in the region
