Join Assistant Curator Stephanie Weissberg for a tour of Lola Álvarez Bravo: Picturing Mexico. This exhibition focuses on Álvarez Bravo’s personal artistic practice from the 1930s to the 1970s, when she traveled across the country documenting life in post-Revolutionary Mexico, and producing iconic portraits of her fellow artists as well as lesser-known compositions that emphasize abstract form, pattern, and the play of light and shadow.
